Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “ Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth." Genesis 14:18-19
Our eternal High Priest is Yeshua Hamashea. (also see Hebrews 5 and 6)
The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, "Thou art a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek." Psalm 110:4
We of the Order are Priests of El-Elyon, the Most High God. All who believe and call upon the name of Yeshua are priests of the order.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Rev 1:5-6
Yeshua's place is seated at the right hand of God.
Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens. Hebrews 8:1
We are seated with Him.
...and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places... Eph 2:6
Yeshua is alive forever, and possesses the keys of Hell and Death.
"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death." Rev 1:18
We have eternal life in Him. Our physical bodies may be killed, but our soul and spirit will live forever.
"And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand." John 10:28
He will make us immortal. We will be given a new immortal body one day.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Cor 15:53
Priests have the final word over our enemies and over every adversity. The devil may try do ill, but he is not a priest, and therefore our word prevails over his.
Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come near, for the LORD your God has chosen them to minister to Him and to bless in the name of the LORD; by their word every controversy and every assault shall be settled. Deut 21:5
We do not realize what power we possess. We watch movies like Star Wars, and think how great it would be to be a Jedi, and ignore the reality of power that we already possess.
A Priest of the Order of Melchizedek has more power than a Jedi. However, like a Jedi, this power is one we have to grow into. It starts by us first knowing what we are entitled to; for, if you do not know you have it, then how can you know to use it?
There are accounts of Elders who have faced bullets at close range and been untouched. There are accounts of miraculous healings, or raising people from the dead, or missing limbs being regrown. What Jedi can do this?
The Jedi have 'the Force'. We have the Spirit of the Living God. Some dead Jedi can appear briefly, while we are alive forever, and are immortals.
Jedi are fiction. We are the reality.
